A Great Microbiologist and a Linguist Too!

Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Cryptosproridium. Oenococcus oeni. Most people cannot even pronounce these organisms, let alone understand them.

As Hsiao-Lin introduces and explains these organisms to a CUNO training class, it is apparent neither is a problem for her. It is this expertise that has served her well during her career at CUNO.

Starting with us as an Associate Microbiologist in 1987, Hsiao-Lin proved to be instrumental in validating our Zetapor020SP^® and Microfluor020FP^® product lines. Her performance in this capacity also paved the way for her promotion to Microbiologist and then to Senior Microbiologist. For Hsiao-Lin, CUNO provided an environment for her to prosper. As she explains, "CUNO is an organization that is "small" enough for you to have a close working relationship with your colleagues and be recognized for your contributions; however, CUNO is also well developed in all areas that you would expect from a well established, "big" company."

Currently, Hsiao-Lin is a Microbiology Lab Group Leader. In addition to being responsible for daily project assignment and laboratory operation, she has established new methods and procedures to challenge and validate future CUNO products.

With such a track record, we are confident that Hsiao-Lin will continue to impress--both Microbiologists and Linguists alike!
